  • All Employees (direct, indirect, part-time, full-time):
    • Bound to safety policy (which is Spanish-English bilingual)
    • Mandatory annual safety standdown
    • Cannot visit job site without OSHA-30 and CPR/first aid
    • E.A.P. / Fire safety
    • Tornado safety
    • Drug tests (hair and urine)
      • Pre-employment
      • Job Specific
      • Post-accident
  • Procedure per job
    • Overseen by superintendant with OSHA-30 (also first aid training)
    • Overseen by full-time safety representatives (also first aid training)
    • Run by foreman with OSHA-10 (also first aid training)
    • Weekly inspections of:
      • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
      • Fall and fire protection
      • First Aid
      • SDS
    • Weekly toolbox talk given by Safety Representative
    • Mandatory training

At NOW, safety is not a matter of filing and forgetting, nor a program meant to establish zero-tolerance disciplinary action. Safety is how we intend to do business.
