Introducing the NOW-3000P
Basic Attributes
The NOW-3000P is a proprietary architectural rainscreen system designed to install a variety of thin cladding types of nearly any composition, finish or application. The system allows for thermal movement and wind loads while deflecting bulk water, managing condensation and limiting air flow.
Product Description
The system has a flat, modern appearance with an inset panel reveal of 0.5-inch, which is closed off by a stock-length joint spline, typically cut from the same material stock as the face sheet. The cladding type and color, as well as the system’s flatness criteria, are all endlessly customizable.
Wall assembly
The system can be installed over thermal girts, outboard insulation with steel girts, CMU, concrete, insulated metal panel, and many other wall types. Extrusions—all concealed—are 6063 T6 aluminum in tongue-and-groove configurations. Stiffeners—also concealed 6063 T6—are 1-inch aluminum tubes. Please note, the NOW-3000P should be installed over an uninterrupted air barrier.
Product Portfolio
Possible cladding types
The NOW-3000P is available in solid aluminum, stainless steel and copper—among others—in thicknesses up to 0.25-inch, in any coating including PVDF, FEVE, wood grains, natural patterns and mill finishes. Panel dimensions are only limited by the cladding.
Production at a glance
Cladding, extrusions and stiffeners, as well as any secondary components, are procured after the submittal phase and kept in their original packaging in our Carrollton facility, until fabrication. All pertinent dimensions are verified on-site, after the backup wall is complete. Cladding material is CNC-cut within tolerances of 0.125 millimeters, which requires daily temperature monitoring. Extrusions and stiffeners are continuous; all tape and sealant adhesion requires proper material preparation, as well as daily temperature and humidity monitoring.
